FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: salient feature of invention consists in realization of inverse Fourier transform above weighted values of quadrature components of mutually correlated functions of elements of complex multifrequency signal. As a result of it discrete values of quadrature components of correlation function of complex multifrequency signal are computed. Time position of maximum of envelope of the correlation function is determined. Number of discrete samplings of quadrature components of correlation function with interval multiple of period of multifrequency signal is selected in the vicinity of maximum. Number of these samplings is determined by predicted value of delay of signal once reflected from ionosphere. Thus selected readings are compared with discrete samplings of predicted model of signal. Considering various hypotheses on time position of model presenting with its superposition of surface signal and signal once reflected from ionosphere one computes evaluations of parameters of model giving minimal root-mean-square deviation of correlation function of received mixture of signals. Radio navigation parameter is determined by measured evaluations. EFFECT: expanded application field. 2 dwg
