FIELD: flying vehicles. SUBSTANCE: method of feeding hydrocarbon fuel in jet engine installation of flying vehicle consists in preheating the hydrocarbon fuel in heat exchanger before injecting it into the combustion chamber, thermal transformation during preheating in presence of water steam and/or carbon dioxide to hydrogen-containing fuel mixture through feeding fuel, water and/or carbon dioxide to structural parts of flying vehicle which get heated during flight in presence of catalyst. Jet engine installation has turbojet engine secured on airframe with high-melting heat-conducting skin (ramjet engine), additional tanks with components which are used for thermal transformation of initial hydrocarbon fuel, nontight non-heat-conducting envelope embracing the compartments and units and forming chamber of heat exchanger together with inner skin of airframe; this chamber is working volume of first reactor; second reactor is also additionally provided which is made in form of closed reservoir from nontight non-heat-conducting envelope; it has common heat-conducting wall with ramjet engine. EFFECT: increase of cruising speed to hypersonic speed at simultaneous reduction of altitudes of atmospheric flight due to increase of enthalpy and calorific value of initial fuel in the course of flight and increase of specific thrust of engines ensuring cooling of flight vehicle structure. 7 cl, 6 dwg
