FIELD: cryogenic engineering. SUBSTANCE: cooled krypton-xenon mixture is fed to tower 1, heat is transferred from it by means of cooling agent to form reflux, and low-temperature rectification is made to obtain production fractions of krypton and xenon. Heat fluxes are supplied to cooling agent and to liquid xenon in evaporator 5 of tower 1, temperature on at least two levels of rectification part of tower, in distillation part of tower, and in evaporator is measured, parameters of heat flux supplied to cooling agent is controlled by temperature difference on two levels of rectification part of tower, at the dame time heat flux fed to evaporator is controlled by temperature difference in distillation part and in evaporator. Data on temperature difference is entered in control units 15 and 16, current temperature differences are determined, compared with data entered in control units, and results of comparison are used to correct parameters of heat fluxes.
