On-site reconditioning system for machine shop lubricants

A reconditioning appts. for coolants/lubricants used in machining equipment has a filter (16) to remove solids, a separator (20) to remove unwanted oils, a sterilising station (30) in which the lubricant is treated using a bactericidal radiation, and a circulating system. The circulating system sucks the lubricant from the storage tank (12) on the machine, passes it through the filter, the oil separator and the steriliser in series whilst maintaining a constant level in the oil separator, and returns it to the storage tank.
