A reusable spool for yarn winding, esp. for spinning machines, can be used during dying of yarn, is pref. made from reusable synthetic material and has holes over its covering surface. Here removable marking components (13) for identifying the yarn material are placed on at least one spool (10) head-end (19) where head-end and marking components have interlocking positioning and fixing means.
