The dental sealing material according to the invention in the form of a two-component system, where the two components give rise, after being mixed, to a mixed composition for sealing holes and fissures in teeth, is characterised by a) a catalyst component, and b) an accelerator component, c) where the quantities of catalyst and accelerator are such that the setting time for the mixed composition is 40 to 90 seconds, the whole catalyst and the whole accelerator are dissolved in their respective component and the mixed composition which is obtained has a contact angle with respect to a dry, etched tooth surface of less than 10 DEG and a Brookfield viscosity of up to 1200 cP.
