The equipment automatically counteracts variations in tuning of a stringed instrument caused by temp. fluctuations in the environment. Separate equipment can be provided for each string, while all springs and mechanisms generating extension pressure can be fixed to a common mounting plate for rapid installation. It can be divided into main sections turning levers with rollers, string guides, extension pressure generator, and adjustable springs.
