A paving system with H shaped bonding stones (3) which are basically rectangular (3') with a trapezoidal indent (8) on either long side. These are laid in rows to half bond, the projecting ends (3'') of two adjacent stones (3) fitting exactly into the indent (8) of another stone. There are also stones with recesses for planting grass (10) having two parallel long sides (6') corresp. in length to the overall width of two rows of stones, and with indents in the other two sides similar to those (8) in the other stones. These are laid to half bond on their short ends and at right angles to the rows. USE/ADVANTAGE - Has a high load bearing capacity.
