Luminaire with annular diaphragm (ring diaphragm) optics

The invention relates to a luminaire with annular diaphragm optics which is composed of truncated cone-shaped annular diaphragms which are arranged at a distance from each other one on top of the other and which engage centrically around at least one lamp. The object of the invention is to shield the unwanted horizontal light flux with simple means and in a simple manner on one side without directing it to the opposite side but to deflect it instead in a useful manner, for example at right angles, and to distribute it to the two sides where it serves to brighten up the most dark interspace on the area illuminated by two adjacent luminaires. The invention consists in (the fact) that the annular diaphragms have slits which are arranged in alignment with one another and in that these slits are interspersed with (penetrated by) at least one diaphragm.
