The invention relates to an injection process for sealing porous and/or fissured/fractured rock into whose regions to be sealed is injected a precipitation retarder which cooperates with a supersaturated mixture/ solution, from which, on cessation of the action of the retarder, the sealing material is precipitated. The invention has for its object to create a comprehensive process for the general sealing of fissured/fractured and/or porous rock and hence for sealing the flow paths present therein. This object is achieved according to the invention when known Ca and SO4 compounds, water and, as precipitation retarder, phosphonic acids and/or phosphonic acid/polymer mixtures are combined to create the mixture/solution and this is injected.
