Condensation-crosslinking silicone and a process for its production, and its use for making impressions in dentistry

The condensation-crosslinking silicone according to the invention can be produced at considerably lower cost than the addition-crosslinking silicone with a platinum catalyst and is scarcely sensitive to vulcanisation faults. Its main component and secondary component can be mixed according to the invention in the ratio 1:1 and dispensed in the ratio 1:1 by volume into chambers of known double cartridges. This prevents errors in dosage so that impressions can be made in dentistry using the condensation-crosslinking silicone more reliably, economically and sparingly than using addition-crosslinking silicone, because overdosages are avoided.
