The invention concerns a system for connecting the infusion bottle (1) used in ozone therapy to the patient, the patient end of the connection system having a connector (6) designed to be connected to the infusion/withdrawal needle inserted in a vein in the patient's arm and the other end of the connection system being attached to a injection chamber (19) which is fitted with a hollow needle (20) connecting the injection chamber (19) to the infusion bottle (1), the connection system also being fitted with a feed tube (15), a return tube (23) and a transfusion unit (10). Fitted between the lower end (9) of the transfusion unit (10) and the connector (6) is a tube (7), and loosely placed over the flow aperture (8) in the floor (9) of the transfusion unit (10) is a plate (13) which will float in blood. The feed tube (15) departs from the transfusion unit (10) about half the way up the unit and is connected to the injection chamber (19) via a non-return valve (16). The return tube (23) branches off the line at a point above the non-return valve (16) and is connected to the top end of the transfusion unit (10).
