Security door lock system linked to burglar alarm

A door locking mechanism has built-in features that are combined within a burglar alarm system. A lock mechanism (16) has a pivoted element (17) that can be moved and the position detected (20,21). A blocking magnet (22) is also built into the lock housing (11). The lock bar (15) moves between two positions and the engaged position is detected (25). All detectors provide inputs to the electronic processing unit (27) coupled to the alarm. Rotation of the lock cylinder (16) coupled element (17) is used to activate the system.
