Mixt. (A) used to test the skin compatibility of chemical cpds. instead of experiments on animals, comprises proteins or parts thereof, lipids, sugars and standard stabilising auxiliary agents. (A) is present as a dispersion. The lipids are amphiphilic lipids, pref. sphingolipids and/or phospholipids and/or non-ionic emulsifiers, esp. glycolipids. The proteins are natural or obtd. from keratin, collagenes, elastines, organ extracts or vegetable proteins, whilst the protein parts are peptides or amino acids, pref. cystein- or glycine hydrochloride. The sugars are hyaluronic acids, glycosamine glycane or proteoglycane. The auxiliary agents are cosmetic preservatives. (A) contain 0.1-2 (0.2-4) wt.% proteins, 0.1-5 (0.1-0.2) lipids, less than 4(0.01)wt.% sugars and less than 2(0.1)wt.% auxiliary agents.
