Assembly for unstacking stacked non-ferrous metal plates

At least one elastic pretensioned expanding element (6) such as a leaf spring (7) is stroked upwards from the bottom past the vertically aligned superposed edges (3) of the plates and a gaseous medium is blasted onto the stack when the spring contacts same so that each top panel (4) can be lifted from the stack. As the leaf spring is moved up from below the gaseous medium is blown along the underneath of the spring towards the stack. Several such leaf springs can be mounted round the circumference of a shaft (5) with their outer edges (7a) in the relaxed state lying in a cylindrical surface. The springs and blow nozzle as well as the lift mechanism to raise the panels are mounted on a stacking station.
