The object carrier (1) comprises a base plate and at least one evaluation chamber and at least two distance holders (4). The at least one evaluation chamber has an evaluation plane (3) to one edge of which a sample release surface (2) connects, which is inclined in relation to the evaluation plane. The at least two distance holders (4) are arranged on opposite edges of the surface formed by the evaluation plane and the sample release surface. A cover foil (7) is firmly connected with the distance holders, so that the cover foil is arranged parallel to the evaluation plane of the at least one evaluation chamber. Between the cover foil and the evaluation plane a capillary gap is formed.
