The invention relates to a further development of the method for the manufacture of shaped parts or objects from thermoformable plastics films, webs or sheets by deep drawing according to Patent Application P 37 14 366.2. In this method, the plastics films, webs or sheets are deep-drawn and formed and/or embossed or decorated over their entire length, the forming and/or preforming being carried out with the assistance of a pressure difference and with the avoidance of a reduced pressure acting on all sides and use being made, instead of and/or together with a shaped male mould, of a shaped support which has on its surface facing the deep-drawing mould the shape, shape regions or surface regions of the deep-drawing mould (in positive form) and is moved against the deep-drawing mould. The film is deflected or preformed by the pressure difference and/or by the support in the direction of the deep-drawing mould and, during or after the thermoforming, the support is bonded to the plastics film, web or sheet formed in the deep-drawing process and located in the deep-drawing mould.
