The invention starts from a building equipped with a loading bridge which is located in the region of a closable building aperture (2), this bridge, when the building closure is in the closed state, being located behind said closure and the bottom of the recess (7) for receiving the bridge being formed by an insulating wall which bounds a hollow space (18) to the top. To achieve a large free space underneath the bridge during operation, the invention proposes forming the insulating wall from part of a portion (16), which can be deflected into the horizontal plane, of the building closure (sectional door).
