A packing material of several uniform individual packages (2, 2a), such as bottles, dispensers, cans, powder boxes or the like, is made of a cardboard or corrugated cardbord blank (1, 1a) in a single piece that forms the packing (3, 3a) when it is set up, that has a width (B) that corresponds to the added depths of the individual packages (2, 2a) and that is subdivided into five sections (9, 10, 11, 12, 13) by four grooves (4, 5, 6, 7) that extend through the blank (1, 1a) parallel to one of its side edges (8). The first central section (9) forms a sidewall of the wrapping (1, 1a) and has a length (L1?) that corresponds to the height of the individual packages (2, 2a). The second section (10), located next to one side of the first section, forms the bottom wall of the packing (3, 3a) and has a length (L2?) that corresponds to the width (B1?) of one individual package (2, 2a). The third section (11), located next to the other side of the first section (9), forms the cover wall of the packing (3, 3a) and has a length (L3?) that corresponds to the width (B2?) of the lid surface of an individual package (2, 2a). The fourth and fifth sections (12, 13), opposite to the side wall, are shorter than the first section (9), so that the packing (3, 3a) is fixed in its set up state by strips (14, 15, 16, 17) that link the opposite longitudinal ends of the fourth and fifth sections (12, 13) directly to the first section (9).
