The base of the antenna (1) comprises, on the one hand, a tube (2) in which can slide a strand of the antenna and, on the other hand, a lateral sleeve (4) which is oblique fixed to the tube, the sleeve on which is connected to a coaxial cable intended to connect the base of the antenna to a receiver station. The base comprises a part (8) of light alloy, in particular of zamac, adapted to establish a mechanical link between the tube (2) and the sleeve (4) so that the angle of slope of the sleeve relative to the tube is ensured. The part (8) of light alloy comprises at the level of the tube of the base a cylindrical sector which is open (9), extending over a fraction of the circumference, this sector having protuberances (11) in the radial direction, making it possible to fix said part (8) on the tube (2) by riveting of these protuberances.
