The machine is provided with a frame and a number of elements in order to work the ground. It comprises a roll made up of several rolling elements 33 supporting the machine 1 and which are mounted to pivot independently of one another while being urged against the ground with the aid of springs 44. Each rolling member 33 has an edge 35 designed to trace a groove which is aligned on a shoe of the seed of a seed drill 25. This arrangement of the flexible suspension and independent of the rolling elements 33 allows the introduction of the seed precisely to the desired depth, in the grooves by a perfect adaptation to the irregularities of the ground.
