In order to unblock a pipe (16) carrying dangerous products that can be accessed after removal of a detachable member (24, 26), this member is replaced by a guide member (42), and there is then introduced into the latter a hydraulic pig (66) connected to a high-pressure hydraulic source (70), via a box (56) equipped with means for washing the pig when it is withdrawn and means for recovering the discharged materials.
