1,3-Diisocyanato-2,2-bis(azidomethyl)propane and its intermediates and application to the vulcanisation of a system containing energising urethanes. To produce a vulcanised propellant, a binder, a urethane plasticiser, an oxidant and a fuel are mixed with 1,3-diisocyanato-2,2-bis(azidomethyl)propane and vulcanisation is carried out. The vulcanisation agent is obtained by a process containing six reaction stages. Application to the production of intermediates and of vulcanisation agents for solid propellants for rocket (engine)s and gas generators.
