The present invention relates to an associative memory which comprises a plurality of storage bins, each of which is divided into at least one first field (TAT) and one second field (CMP) representative of the result of the comparison between the value (TAT) and a value (T) present on an input of the said memory (MEM), a coder (CP) whose inputs are respectively connected to the binary comparison elements (CMP) of the storage bins and which calculates the first address (Adr), starting from its first input, of the input which receives a value equal to a given binary state and outputs it as first address of the bin of the memory whose first field (TAT) contains a value equal to that which is present on its search input (T).
