The present invention relates to a device intended to hold a cage structure delimiting a goal area, intended for sports played with large and small balls, in a vertical position, to support it and to pivot it. It consists of a crossbar 1 connected to two vertical uprights 2 and 3 equipped with rotation devices 17 to 25. Each vertical upright is fastened by means of at least one linking and supporting bar 4 to a vertical tube 5 or 6 pivoting about a shaft 7 and connected by means of tabs 8 to a support 9 sealed in the ground. A tube 12 is fastened on the support 9. Inside, a ball is held in compression against the tube 5 or 6 by means of a spring 14. It stops the rotation of the goal when it comes into contact with the anchorages 15 or 16. The device according to the invention is intended particularly for equipping football pitches. IMAGE
