Foldable rigid craft of the dinghy type with a centre-board, which is compact when folded. Its moderate weight considerably facilitates its transport. The craft is assembled in five minutes. The longitudinal cohesion of the hull and the lateral cohesion is obtained by the combination of the binding force of the straps which encircle the hull at a plurality of points, linked with the action of buttresses and vertical uprights placed under the cross-pieces of the rear part and of the centre. In the case in which the rigid parts of the bottom panels consist of a sandwich of high-density polyurethane foam with closed cells, the craft is then unsinkable. When folded, it contains all the elements which constitute it apart from the rigging and the oars. In addition to being a dinghy, this craft can be propelled by oars or using a small out-board motor.
