The invention relates to devices making it possible to protect cables from breaking due to excessive curvature. It consists in slipping this cable through an articulated column formed of vertebrae (201) joined together by clips (307) and equipped with means (302, 304) allowing limited angular travel of one vertebra relative to the next one. This articulated column can thus bend in all directions but with a limited radius of curvature. The limit of this radius of curvature is less than the value of the radius of curvature of the cable for which the latter would be subjected to excessive stresses.
