Material complex for reinforcing roads, partic. bitumen, consists of an open mesh type textile e.g.. made from continuous glass fibres, associated with a non-woven layer to close the pores of the open textile. The non-woven layer is made of filaments that degrade at a temp. lower than the pour temp. of the road top surfaces. The filaments are chlorofibres or polyolefins with degrading temp. less than 150 deg C.. Also claimed is a continuous prodn. using needling.
