A Streptomyces No. CBS 154.94 strain, mutants or derivatives thereof, and a method for preparing peptides using said strain, are disclosed. Novel peptides of general formula (I), pharmaceutical compositions containing same, and the use thereof in cancer therapy, are also disclosed.
