A garment usable for persons working in operating theatres

A heat insulating jacket/coat article for persons working in the non-sterile areas of operating theatres is made of a very thin sheet material of the type having a central carrier sheet of plastics, provided at one side with an extremely thin coating of a heat reflecting metallic material carrying a further coating of a moisture absorbing fibrous layer. The garment can be produced in but a single, large size without closure means, as the users may close the garment with pieces of adhesive tape (8) and also adapt the width of the garment by pleating the garment material and locking the pleats (10) with adhesive tape (12). Alternatively, the garment may be shape and size adjusted by simple cutting. A material well suited for the purpose is a carrier sheet of polyester or polyethylene coated with cellulose fibres. IMAGE
