FORMATION OF METALLIC PATTERN, PHOTOSENSITIVE SHEET, SHEET WITH ELECTROLESS PLATING LAYER AND SHEET FOR FORMING ELECTROLESS PLATING LAYER

摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a method for forming metallic patterns having excellent workability and cost effectiveness and high surface smoothness by improving a method for forming the metallic patterns by a transfer method. ;CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive sheet 10 formed with a ground surface layer 13 for electroless plating formed by dispersing particulates of metal or metallic compd. on a swellable aq. resin layer, an electroless plating layer 14 and a photoresist layer 15 in this order on the surface of a plastic film 11 is prepd. The photoresist layer 15 of this photosensitive sheet 10 is exposed to a pattern form and is then developed, by which resist patterns 15a are formed on the electroless plating layer 14. Electrolytic plating layers 23 are formed on the exposed surfaces of the electroless plating layers 14 of the regions where the resist does not exist. The resist patterns 15a and the plating layers 23 are simultaneously transferred onto the substrate. Stages for stripping away the plastic film 11 are successively executed, by which the metallic patterns are formed on the substrate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
