SPECIFYING METHOD FOR GEOTHERMAL-ENERGY CAP ROCK STRATUM

PURPOSE: To enable the position of a cap rock stratum and its depth to be detected with high accuracy. ;CONSTITUTION: Rocks are collected (S1) at predetermined intervals along the depth of soil, and the carbonic acid contents of the rocks collected are measured (S2). From the measured carbonic acid contents, the rock with the maximum carbonic acid content is specified (S3), and a cap rock stratum is specified to exist at the depth where the specified rock was collected.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
