FUZZY INFERENCE DEVICE AND FUZZY INFERENCE METHOD

PURPOSE: To easily constitute a fuzzy inference device in accordance with change in the type of problem to be treated and observation data and to easily correct knowledge on the addition of various procedures required for inference. ;CONSTITUTION: The method required for fuzzy inference in constituted of four types of an input type 4, a translation type 5, a synthesis type 6 and an interpretation type 7. They are adaptively selected by an inference execution management part 3. In the method of the input type 4, the procedure for allocating a basic probablity to the focus element of D-S logic by using fuzzy inference is described. In the methods of the translation type 5, the synthesis type 6 and the interpretation type 7, the inference procedure based on D-S theory is described.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
