LAISSEZ-PASSER PROCESSING MACHINE OF TOLL RECEPTION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: To receive cash for a deficiency in balance of radio communication toll reception by an on-vehicle machine as to a laissez-passer processing machine of toll reception system for a toll road. ;CONSTITUTION: The laissez-passer processing machine 20 consists of a CPU 21, a display part 22, a storage part 23, an I/O circuit 24, an AFC card confirming machine 25, an operation part 26, and a magnetic card processing part 27. The AFC card processing machine 25 can extract a card from the on-vehicle machine and insert it. A new remaining amount can be set through the operation part 27 and written on the card. Further, since an AFC vehicle, a non-AFC vehicle, a kind of payment, a remaining amount, and a deficient amount can be displayed at the display part 22, even if the balance becomes deficient at the time of toll reception by a prepaid base on-vehicle machine, the continuous use of the on-vehicle is enabled and operation by a toll collector becomes smooth.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
