PURPOSE: To make improvements on its taking time for excavation work or this junction structure lowering strength by enabling a wedge to be made small to tighten a junction metal subject and a lateral frame member by driving a wedge in between them, and also by making the driving-in space provided at a lateral frame member small thereby avoiding a notched part becoming large. ;CONSTITUTION: A pair of guide pieces 55 and 56 fairly lower than (for example, about one seventh as high as) a core plate 53 are provided on both sides of the core plate 53 of a junction metal subject 51. Furthermore, on the top of the core plate 53 is a wedge receiving groove 60 made through in the thickness direction of the core plate 53. The end face 76 in longitudinal direction of the abutment 67 is pressure contacted to the side face of a pillar 61 by driving a wedge member 77 into the width part 72 at the required position of the vertical slit 70 of the abutment 67 of a lateral frame member such as a beam 62 or the like engaged with the junction metal fitting proper 51 and the wedge receiving groove 60.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
