PURPOSE: To measure a magnetic field the intensity of which is uneven, accurately with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION: When a nuclear magnetic resonance signal for an area intended for a measurement object is obtained, a gradient magnetic field is given to the aforesaid area prior to the generation of a nuclear magnetic resonance signal from the measurement object, and nuclear magnetic resonance signal at each voxel is obtained in such a way that no read-out gradient magnetic field is given to the object while the nuclear magnetic resonance signal is being generated out of the object, so that a space magnetic field distribution is thereby measured.
