AUXILIARY TABLE FOR OPERATION OF STAR-LIKE GANGLION BLOCK

PURPOSE: To perform safely extension of the neck by arranging freely rotatably a pillow plate whose front end reaches the seventh cervical vertebrae when laid down on one's back and moving it up and down by means of an elevator in an auxiliary table being suitable for medical operation of the star-like ganglion block existing in front of the seventh cervical vertebrae. ;CONSTITUTION: An auxiliary table main body 1 on the upper face of which a gentle slope 2 is formed is provided and an approximately U-shaped cut part 3 is formed on the uppermost side on this auxiliary table main body 1. In addition, a pillow plate 4 formed into a shape being hooked to the cut part 3 or into a trapezoid being a little longer than it, is freely rotatably arranged in the bottom part of the cut part 3. The length of this pillow plate 4 is made to be a length reaching the seventh certival vertebrae when a person is laid down on his back on the auxiliary table main body 1. When an operation is performed, the pillow plate 4 is gradually rotated upward by an elevator 6 attached on the bottom race or the pillow prate 4 to perform extension or the neck in such a way that the seventh certival vertebrae is pushed up thereby and the star-like ganglion block is pushed forward accordingly and at the stage where a properly extended position is obtd., the pillow plate 4 is fixed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
