CONSTRUCTION OF REVETMENT BY USE OF NATURAL STONE

PURPOSE: To provide a revetment by which a scenic view can be obtained and a protective circumstance of a biological system in a water front or a river can be secured and also the greening on a revetment slope above the water level can be achieved in a short period. CONSTITUTION: A gravel layer 2 is laid on a smoothed slope. A preventive material 3 against sucking out is laid on the gravel layer 2 and a net 4 made of a synthetic resin mesh is laid down. The base of grip anchors is fixed in an insertion hole bored in advance in a natural stone. The grip anchors are joined to the net by a rope. And further, the void formed among the natural stones 7 is filled with natural stones 12 and these are back-filled with gravels 13.
