PURPOSE: To reduce the number of slip flaws in the coil width direction of the steel sheet by automate the lowering speed, and reducing the impact of the lower face of the steel sheet coil to be hoisted with the ground to reach. ;CONSTITUTION: The signal from a pulse generator 3 is operated by a controller 4, and the speed command is given to a crane motor 2 to be driven. The landing height is calculated from the width of a coil 6 based on the information on the coil at the stockyard of the steel sheet coil 6, and when this value is inputted in the controller 4, the prescribed to start the deceleration of the crane lowering operation is determined, and the impact of the lower face of the steel sheet coil 6 to be hoisted with the landing ground by automating the lowering speed. The slip flaw in the steel sheet coil can be reduced in number.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
