PURPOSE: To construct a stable subway station in the structure, by reinforcing segments by upper and lower longitudinal girders made of steel encased reinforced concrete and appropriately erecting main columns between the upper and lower longitudinal girders. ;CONSTITUTION: A tunnel for a station having a platform A at the middle and railroads B, B at both sides thereof is excavated by a triplex multi-circle shield excavator and at the same time, the ground of the tunnel is lined with an arcuate segment and upper and lower seagull-shaped segments 2, 3 to erect temporary columns. Steel girders 7 are laid at the upper part of the lower seagull-shaped segment 3 and at the lower part of the upper seagull-shaped segment 2 respectively and both ends thereof are connected to brackets of butt end metal fittings. A pedestal and a jack are installed between the steel girder 7 of the upper longitudinal girder 5 and the upper seagull- shaped segment 2 and also the steel girder 7 of the lower longitudinal girder 4 and the lower seagull-shaped segment 3 to actuate the jack by receiving the reactive force on the steel girder 7 and press the upper and lower seagull-shaped segments 2, 3 to the ground with a strong force. Then the temporary columns are removed and reinforcements are arranged in specified positions and concrete is placed in forms.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
