LEVEL GAUGE DEVICE FOR LUBRICATING OIL FOR TURN REDUCTION GEAR IN CONSTRUCTION MACHINE

PURPOSE: To easily inspect a lubricating oil level in a turn reduction gear installed at a position which is difficult to approach because of location in the middle part of the rotary body of a construction machine and of disturbance made by piping and covers. ;CONSTITUTION: A hole 5a communicating with the inside is provided in the lower peripheral wall of a turn reduction gear 5, and a connecting pipe 13 for a pipe or a hose led to a position where an inspecter can approach easily is connected to the hole 5a. A perspective level gauge 15 fitted in height to the position of the normal lubricating oil level of the turn reduction gear 5 on a flat ground is provided in a perpendicular part at the tip of the connecting pipe 13, and the cocks 14A, 14B are severally attached to the upper and lower ends of the perspective level gauge 15. The inspection of the lubricating oil level is carried out with both the upper and lower cocks 14A, 14B being opened.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
