JOINT FITTING FOR METAL-PLATE HORIZONTALLY ROOFED ROOF

PURPOSE: To facilitate machining and the execution of works, to increase strength and to protect a water related section sufficiently from water. ;CONSTITUTION: Both side edges of a joint fitting body 1 are bent in required width towards a center on the rear side from a surface, a roof-plate hold-down section 10 in required width is formed on the surface side of the joint fitting body 1 while both side edges of the joint fitting body are bent towards the outside of both sides again, and a nailing plate section functioning as a roof plate receiver in combination with roof-plate inserting clearances 12 among the both side edges of the joint fitting body and the roof-plate hold-down section 10 is formed. The lower end of the roof-plate hold-down section 10 is bent to the rear side of the nailing plate section 11 functioning as the roof plate receiver in combination to form an engaging hook section while a projecting strip rib section 16 is formed to the nailing plate section 11 functioning as the roof plate receiver in combination so as to surround the roof-plate hold-down section 10. Both left and right side edges of the nailing plate section 11 functioning as the roof plate receiver in combination are bent and superposed to the surface side in necessary width to form bent piece sections 15 for preventing the infiltration of rainwater, and the upper edge of the nailing plate section 11 functioning as the roof plate receiver in combination containing the bent piece sections 15 for preventing the infiltration of rainwater is bent to the surface side in necessary width to form an eave-shaped bent piece section 12a for preventing the infiltration of rainwater.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
