CONTROL OF OPERATION IN TEMPORARY STOP OF SPINNING MACHINERY AND OPERATION CONTROLLER

PURPOSE: To stop a ring rail at a position for facilitating the traveler exchange and prevent the yarn breakage from occurring in restarting. ;CONSTITUTION: A ring rail is decelerated together with a spindle from a deceleration starting position DS computed from a spindle rotational frequency Vs when pushing a stop switch and stopped at the top dead point in the final chase region. In this stopped state, a wide space (interval) for facilitating the traveler exchange operation is formed between the inner wall surface of the ring and the side of a cop. When a starting switch is pushed, the spindle is initially accelerated at a relatively small acceleration α1 in a rising region. When the spindle attains a prescribed rotational frequency V1 at which the traveler rotation is stabilized, the acceleration is changed over to a relatively large acceleration α2 and accelerated to the steady state speed Vmax.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
