PURPOSE:To produce a complex phase structure chromium stainless steel strip having excellent hardness and corrosion resistance and high ductility and strength by executing the specific heat treatment in a continuous heat treatment furnace after hot-rolling and cold-rolling the specific composition of the steel composing of Cr as the main alloy component. CONSTITUTION:The steel slab composing of =0.15wt.% C, =2.0% Si, =4.0% Mn, =0.040% P, =0.010% S, =4.0% Ni, 10.0-20.0% Cr, =0.12% N, =0.020% O, =0.40% Cu, more than 1.0-2.5% Mo and further, if necessary, one or more kinds among =0.2% Al, =0.0050% B, =0.10% REM and =0.20% Y and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and 0.010%=C+N=0.20% and Ni+(Mn+ Cu)/3=5.0% is hot-rolled and cold-rolled, to make the plate thickness for the product. This steel strip is passed through the continuous heat treatment furnace and after holding at two phase zone temp. for ferrite + austenite for =10min, it is cooled to 100 deg.C at 1-500 deg.C/sec average cooling velocity.
