PURPOSE: To obtain a multiconductor overhead transmission line structure by which a galloping operation is suppressed effectively and which is made light and simple by a method wherein arms extended to mutually opposite sides regarding a straight line connecting two element conductors are fixed respectively to the element conductors by keeping an interval and extened tip parts of both arms are coupled via a link. ;CONSTITUTION: Arms 12 extended to opposite sides regarding a straight line connecting two element conductors 11 by keeping an interval are fixed respectively to both element conductors, and extended tip parts of both arms 12 are coupled via a link 13. Thereby, even when a turning force is generated in the element conductor on one side due to the difference in the shape or the weight of accumulated snow or ice parts 14 or due to the difference in a wind velocity between both element conductors 11, a reverse turning force is generated in the element conductor on the other side so as to offset it, and a galloping operation is suppressed. Even by this simple constitution, a weight is not required unlike conventional cases, and the galloping operation can be suppressed effectively.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
