Design paint for amorphous iron alloy pigment

摘要

PURPOSE:To provide an amorphous iron alloy pigment for the decorative paint capable of being easily converted into a paint and excellent in corrosion resistance and reflectivity. CONSTITUTION:This pigment is a flake having 0.3-3mum thickness, 10-150mum minor axis, a 1 to 3 ratio of the minor axis to major axis and a 3-100 aspect ratio (major axis/thickness), contains 4-25 atom% Cr, 5-20 atom% P and 7-18 atom% C as the fundamental composition, further contains 0.5-12 atom% Ni and 0.50-10 atom% Mo, as required, and contains at least one kind selected from 0.1-1.0 atom% Si, 0.1-2atom% Al and 0.1-1 atom% Mn. The pigment is made amorphous by the fundamental composition, and the reflectivity is improved by the addition of Si, Al and Mn.
