PURPOSE:To improve efficiency in pile-head treatment by covering reinforcements arranged in specified ambit of a pile-head portion with a covering member impregnated with saccharinites for prevention of sticking of extra concrete to the reinforcements, and by making removal of the extra concrete easy therewith. CONSTITUTION:Main reinforcements (a) and hoops (b) arranged in a specified upper part of a reinforcing bar basket A inserted into the ground are covered with reinforcement-covering members 1 impregnated with sugared water or the like. The reinforcement-covering member is made of paper, cloth, synthetic resin or such material that solves in alkali and is formed in a shape of cylinder or halved cylinder. Then concrete is cast over there and after a specified period of curing, the covering members are removed and extra concrete cast over the head of a pile is removed, allowing the concrete to separate from the reinforcements (a) and (b). Thereby the pile-head treatment can be made efficiently.
