PURPOSE: To quickly calculate the amount of phase shift necessary for an RF digital phase shifter in each array antenna element. ;CONSTITUTION: Signals 0 to (M-1)δx successively outputted from a δx accumulative addition circuit 1 are stored in storage circuits 3-0 to 3-(M-1), and in parallel with the operation, signals 0 to (N-1)δy successively outputted from a δy accumulative addition circuit 2 are stored in storage circuits 4-0 to 4-(M-1). The signals 0 to (M-1)δx stored in the circuits 3-0 to 3-(M-1) are respectively converted into serial signals by P/S conversion circuits 5-0 to 5-(M-1) and transferred to respective array antenna elements 71, 0 to 7(M-1, N-1), and in parallel, with the above operation, the signals 0 to (N-1)δy stored in the circuits 4-0 to 4-(M-1) are respectively converted into serial signals by P/S conversion circuits 6-0 to 6-(N-1) and transferred to array antenna elements 70, 1 to 7(M-1, N-1).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
