PURPOSE: To obtain a polyester fiber capable of being easily produced with conventional installations and giving the electrostatically flocked product enabling to easily recover the fibers fallen by their employment and wearing into the original raised fiber state by a simple thermal treatment, and capable of being always used and worn, while maintaining the original raised fiber touch forever. ;CONSTITUTION: The polyester short fiber comprises a shape-memorizing polyester produced from one or more kinds of aliphatic diol components and a dicarboxylic acid component comprising an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid component in a molar ratio of 70/30 to 95/5 and having a glass transition temperature of 10-60°C, and has a fineness of ≤10 denier and a fiber length of ≤30mm.
