WATER-SOLUBLE ROLLING OIL FOR STAINLESS STEEL SHEET AND METHOD FOR ROLLING

PURPOSE: To obtain a rolling oil capable of producing a coating film which is an oxide film of a rolling material on a work roll in an early stage, eliminating unevenness and enabling the rolling of a stainless steel sheet excellent in luster and provide a method for rolling the stainless steel sheet at a speed as high as ≥700m/min. ;CONSTITUTION: This water-soluble rolling oil is obtained by blending a synthetic ester as a base oil with the following components (i) to (iii) and regulating the average particle diameter of the resultant emulsion to 5μm and the concentration of the emulsion to 3-15%. The pH may be regulated to ≥8.5. (i) 2-10wt.% at least one selected from the group consisting of amine salts of 12-36C fatty acids or dibasic acids and salts of mono- or diesters having a 6-18C alkyl group of orthophosphoric acid or/and phosphorous acid with 1-18C aliphatic alkylamines, (ii) 2.5-10wt.% alkanolamine having a 2-18C alkyl group and (iii) 2-10wt.% 4-18C alcohol.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
